There are two allocated disabled parking bays in the new car park and drivers with disabilities are asked to telephone 01287 640416 to gain access to the car park or to prior arrange an opening time for the gate with our site supervisor: Mr D Caley.

As the school is on two floors, there is a lift provided for those with mobility difficulties. The key to the lift is held in the school office and the members of staff in the office will gladly assist with the lift.

Induction Loop

The school is fitted with an induction loop for those who require this facility and visitor are asked to click their hearing aid to ‘T’.

Hygiene Facilities

The school has one accessible toilet on the first floor and two on the ground floor. There is a full hygiene room on the ground floor which is equipped to a high standard with a shower and full wet room facilities including full wheelchair access. In addition the hygiene room has a ‘sharps’ bin for the disposal of diabetic sharps.

Emergency Procedures

Fully serviced EVAC chairs are positioned in the rescue areas at the top of both flights of stairs and staff are trained how to use them. If the alarms sound you are asked to make your way to the rescue areas and press the green button whereupon the office will ensure you will be safely escorted out of the building.
